COVID-19 and Other Illness Precautions

I wear an N95 respirator (mask) in clients’ homes to lower the risk of asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic illness transmission. I provide transparent communication about any potential symptoms that arise before and after in-home visits, and I ask that clients do the same so both parties have a choice regarding exposure and can take steps to limit community transmission. In-home support where the newborn and/or household members are, or have been, experiencing illness symptoms may be limited, and I offer flexibility with rescheduling for any dates missed due to illnesses.
